Abstract
Based on the analysis of the sustainable development, the PREEST system model has been put forward including the population, resource, economy, environment and science & technology. In this paper, as the center of the economy development, the development level and the harmony degree of the PREEST system have been completed in Chinese Mainland during 1980-2000. Then, according to the integrated development index and the harmony index, some advice about Chinese Mainland sustainable development have been brought forward based on our research results.
