Abstract

Heptakis (2,6-di-O-butyl)-β-cyclodextrin bonded silica stationary phase was prepared and separately characterized by IR, XPS and Molisch color reaction. Chromatographic performance of the bonded silica stationary phase was investigated using four kinds of standard samples (uracil, phenol, N,N-dimethylbenzenamine, and toluene) as column efficiency testing materials. At the same time, the separation performance of the stationary phase for separating isomers and two kinds of enantiomers was investigated. The results suggest that some isomers and enantiomers get relative good separation on the stationary phase.
