New kind of intelligent ultrasonic liquid level apparatus with the long measure range and short blind zone

Abstract

When using ultrasonic to observe a liquid level from outside of the tank, the ultrasonic sensor is often fixed on the bottom of a liquid tank. In such a case, the size of the blind zone directly influences the observation of a raffinate. In the ultrasonic measurement, the stronger the transmitting intensity is, the longer the time of echo will be, i. e. the blind zone is larger. However for increasing measure range, the transmitting intensity must be increased. In order to solve the contradiction, the transmitting time, transmitting power and amplifier multiple are automatically regulated to realize the purpose. This method reduces the range of blind zone and increases the measure range.
