N2 - Most space trusses are of lightweight design. This type of structure has the characteristics of low damping and high flexibility, and it is prone to large oscillations during orbital operation, thus affecting the normal operation of the spacecraft payload. Aiming at this problem, an intelligent space truss structure integrated with sensing and actuation is established using piezoelectric devices. This study fully considers the constitutive equation of piezoelectric material elements, the space thermal environment, and uses the hybrid modeling form of beam element, link element, and solid element to establish an electromechanical thermal coupled finite element model of the intelligent space truss structures containing piezoelectric material devices (sheet and stack forms, respectively). Through statics and dynamics analysis of the intelligent space truss, this paper investigates the influence of the external loads, thermal loads, preload of the pre-tensioned cables, and piezoelectric effect on the truss deformation, and reveals the response regulation of piezoelectric device under the multiphysics coupled field. This study provides a model reference for the vibration suppression control of trusses by piezoelectric devices, and provides theoretical guidance for the improvement of the stability of large-scale intelligent space trusses.
