Abstract

Rare Event management is one important research direction in management science currently. Emergency material transport process is one important issue when rare event happens. How to model the emergency material transport process, to evaluate the performance measures of the process are one of the most important issues in real-world. We use Generalized Stochastic Petri Net (GSPN) to model the emergency material transport process, and obtain some important performance measures of the process. Then we construct the simulation model of emergency material transport process, and analyze the simulation outputs.
