Abstract

It is difficult to measure motor winding temperature directly. In order to deal with this problem, temperature rise for motor winding under three cases of temperature rise is analyzed theoretically based on the zero second resistance fitting method. Least square method is used to get the fitting formula of zero second resistance. Algorithm of zero second temperature is obtained on the principle of linearity relationship between metal resistance and temperature. Experiment and error analysis for motor winding temperature rise are adopted. A simplified measurement method in the engineering field is discussed. Experimental result demonstrates the validity of the method. The method is also feasible in the measurement of winding temperatures for other kinds of motors.
