Abstract
Owing to the good characteristics of rapidness response, safety operation, low cost, cleanliness, and high power–weight ratio, PAM is gradually popular in robot mechanism. However, due to highly nonlinear and time-varying behavior caused by the elasticity and compressibility of air, it is difficult to achieve accurate control in PAM systems.
