Abstract
RTR system was used to investigate the combustion property of accelerated-aging CMDB solid propellant. The results indicate that aging process has no significant effects on burning rate, but can cause configuration damage. Experiments show that when aging temperature is over 70 °C and duration is over 24 days, abnormal combustion is obvious. Other additional experiments show that the aging temperature of 60 °C and the duration of 90 days could be considered as failure criteria of such CMDB solid propellant.
