Abstract

The electrodes surface modified technology of Ni-MH batteries are studied. The experiment results demonstrate that this method could remarkably improve the conductivity of the electrodes. The new process improves the characteristics of the Ni-MH batteries, especially concerning the battery capacity and discharge capacity at high rates. The high power battery is developed. It has long cycle life. The inner pressure test shows that battery with additives displays a much lower inner gas pressure on charging, the performance of high power on charging and the longer cycle life.
