Improved probability data association algorithm for multitarget tracking

Abstract

Probability data association (PDA) filter algorithm is improved. In the new algorithm, influence of neighboring targets is analyzed and the probability of public measurement in the intersection of validation gates from the tracked objects modified. Simulation results show that compared with the PDA algorithm, the new algorithm uses almost the same time but remarkably reduces tracking mistakes and the loss of objects.
