Abstract

An approximate equivalent principle that combines the modified surface integration (MSI) and the integral equation (IE) is proposed to evaluate the electromagnetic performance of the antannas/arrays enclosed by radomes (AER) with large sizes in transmitting mode. The multilevel fast multipole algorithm (MLFMA) is utilized to speeding up the surface integration. Numerical results demonstrate the validity, precision and efficiency of present approach.
