Abstract

To investigate the method for evaluating complex systems, and the operator for aggregating weighted linguistic information, based on fuzzy sets theory, a PLOWA operator was presented to extend the application of LOWA operator, and a new transform function to aggregate weighted linguistic information was defined. The fuzzy AHP method based on PLOWA operator can process natural language directly, and its execution is mush more intuitive and effective than traditional fuzzy multiple attribute decision-making methods.
