Abstract
By using electronic control systems instead of an ordinary open-loop control systems with mechanical operation and hydraulic servos, the fluctuation of the output speed of a multi-range hydro-mechanical variable transmission (HMT) can be reduced from 17% to 2% (with PID control logic), and to 1.5% (with fuzzy control logic).
