Abstract

In this paper, a dual-band horn antenna operating at 94 GHz and 340 GHz is presented. The low band is determined by a two-mode conical horn, and the high band is provided by a tapered dielectric strip, which is inserted in the horn. The two radiators are orthogonally excited by a two-port waveguide. Both of the two bands have equal beam-width in E and H planes. The simulated results show that the side-lobe level is below -25 dB, and the port isolation is higher than 30dB.
