Abstract

In order to improve the response and adaptability to a changing market environment for current manufacturing system, using the organizational structure and working principle of human body as a reference, manufacturing resources are regarded as the object of control, a bionic control model, and a reconfigurable manufacturing system is proposed. This divides the manufacturing system into the controller and controlled plant. The controller is designed as having the controlling character of a neuro-endocrine-immunity system. Combined with the multi-Agent system, the self-organizing process of reconfigurable manufacturing system and information processing multi-Agent systems are discussed. The results showed, by the cooperation between Agents, a cooprative, autnomic and globally optimized reconfigurable manufacturing system is implemented.
