Abstract
In this comment, it is pointed out that the explicit expressions of the stress and electric displacement derived by Wu et al. [pays. stat. sol. (b) 238, 120 (2003)] are incorrect. The reason for producing the erroneous results is discussed. According to Ting's work on anisotropic elastic bimaterial [Q. J. Mech. Appl. Math. 45, 119 (1992)], the correct results are given.
