Abstract

The input impedance and the radiation pattern of the cylindrical rectangular microstrip patch antennas as well as the mutual coupling effect between them are calculated by using a novel closed-form solution which is based on the integral equation and the moment method. By using this algorithm, the computational efficiency is improved dramatically. Numerical results are presented to verify the correctness and high efficiency of the algorithm.
