Abstract

Chopping and Interleaving (CI) jamming based on digital radio frequency memory (DRFM) can achieve effects of both deception and suppression, posing a serious threat to modern radar systems. Hence a novel adaptive scheme for CI jamming suppression based on the mismatched filter is proposed in this paper. First, coherent accumulation and image binarization are used to enhance the time-frequency (TF) characteristics of the signal. Then the short-time Fourier transform (STFT) is preformed to extract the TF features of CI jamming for jamming parameter estimation, and the time-domain signal without noise is reconstructed. Finally, the mismatched filter is optimized based on the reconstructed signal to achieve jamming suppression. Simulation results verify the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed scheme.
