He has been engaged in the research of high resolution radar, distributed radar system and signal processing direction for a long time. More than 30 projects such as National 863, Natural Science Foundation and Ministry of Science and Technology have been completed and are being researched. He presided over the development of S-band and X-band broadband experimental radar system, which provided platform support for complex waveform design, broadband detection and tracking, and applied this system design to civilian radar production. He has published more than 30 papers in IEEE TGRS, IEEE TAES, IEEE TAP, IET RSN, Science in China and other domestic and foreign journals, authorized more than 20 national invention patents, and published a monograph "Broadband Radar" (second author). The undergraduate course "Digital Signal Processing" and the all-English graduate course "Introduction to Radar Systems" are offered.
