Abstract

Active jamming with diverse types and variable parameters poses a significant threat to the operational effectiveness of modern radars. Accurately and rapidly characterizing jamming threat can provide guidance for radar anti-jamming. From the perspective of the radar anti-jamming closed-loop system, the paper extracts frequency domain features as threat indicators from two aspects: the difficulty of eliminating suppression jamming and the accuracy of deception jamming identification, assessing jamming threat based on the signal-level. Through a consistent simulation analysis of the proposed threat indicators and anti-jamming indicators, it has been quantitatively demonstrated that the threat indicators can represent the adverse effects of jamming on radar anti-jamming systems. Finally, the proposed method has been proven to be effective based on experimental data.
