Abstract

In this paper, we propose a novel template matching method, which achieves target handover between the video monitoring system and security mobile robot. First, a target coordinate transformation scheme across devices is proposed to get the target pixel range in robot perspective. Second, correlation filters utilized to complete target matching process. Finally, an improved target handover method based on affine transformation and correlation filter is proposed, which achieves higher accuracy. Compared with traditional template matching methods and deep learning methods, our proposed method achieves promising performance in both speed and accuracy.
