Abstract

The existing solar system boundary exploration missions and their autonomous technologies' preliminary applications are reviewed, and the characteristics of solar system boundary exploration missions are summarized and organized. Based on the development and application history, the key technologies required to achieve autonomous operation of solar system boundary probes are analyzed, and the research focuses of each technology are given. It includes autonomous task planning technology in uncertain environments, ultra long cycle and high reliability autonomous health management technology, autonomous navigation technology in extremely far and deep space environments, autonomous operation management technology of nuclear power system, autonomous thermal control technology in extreme thermal environments, and autonomous communication and hibernation technology at ultra long distances. It can provide reference for the key technology research and mission implementation of the solar system boundary exploration mission.
