Meng Zihui, professor, doctoral supervisor, Department of Chemical Engineering, School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Beijing Institute of Technology. He graduated from the Department of Chemistry, Lanzhou University in 1992 and obtained his Ph. D. degree from Dalian Institute of Chemical Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1998. He has worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the Academy of Military Medical Sciences of the People's Liberation Army, Lund University, Sweden, Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology (JSPS), Japan, and as a research assistant in Riverside, UC, USA. Member of the American Chemical Society, Member of the International Society for Molecular Imprinting.
Research areas include:
1) Chemical sensing technology, using photonic crystals to achieve rapid detection of nerve agents, environmental pollutants and food additives;
2) Energetic materials. The research content involves the research and development of new high energy and low inductive energy materials

As the main participant, he won a second prize of National technology invention in 2017, a first prize of National defense Technology invention in 2014, and a first prize of Science and Technology Progress in Shaanxi Province in 2000.
