Zhang Zhiwei, professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Computer Science, Beijing Institute of Technology, was selected as a national high-level talent program. He received his bachelor's degree from Renmin University of China in 2010 and his doctorate degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2014. From 2014 to 2015, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. In 2016, he joined the Hong Kong Baptist University as a research assistant Professor and in 2019, he joined the School of Computer Science at Beijing Institute of Technology. His research interests include large-scale graph data management and analysis, distributed computing, data lake, blockchain, etc. He has hosted and participated in A number of national key scientific research projects, and has published A number of class A papers recommended by the Computer Society (CCF), including top conferences ACM SIGMOD, KDD, ICDE and top journals VLDB Journal. He has been a member of the program committee of international academic conferences such as ACM SIGMOD, VLDB and AAAI for many times.
News: We plan to enroll 1 PhD student and 3 to 4 master students every year. Meanwhile, senior undergraduates who are interested in scientific research are welcome to join the laboratory in advance.
