Yufeng Chen, male, Doctor, Associate professor, Deputy Director of the Institute of Computational Photography and Virtual Reality, Master's supervisor. In 1999 and 2002, he received his bachelor's and Master's degrees from the Department of Automation of Wuhan University. He received his PhD in Pattern Recognition and Intelligent Systems from the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2005, and then spent one year as a visiting scholar at the Chinese University of Hong Kong with Academician Xu Yangsheng. Since 2006, he has been a postdoctoral fellow and a professor at the university. He is mainly engaged in the research of intelligent visual monitoring, virtual reality and simulation and the basic teaching of university computer.
Presided over a number of provincial and ministerial projects, including postdoctoral fund, doctoral fund, final assembly Research Fund and education reform project of the Ministry of Education, and as the technical leader completed a number of large and medium-sized scientific research projects, including virtual environment modeling and simulation platform, content-based image search system, intelligent vision monitoring system, virtual human customer service system, virtual assembly and virtual interaction. Won 3 third prizes of National Defense Science and Technology Progress Award; He has published nearly 20 SCI and EI papers and obtained 9 patents.
He served as the director of the Science and Technology Committee of the National Institute of Computer Basic Education, and was responsible for the teaching of "College Computer" in Beijing Institute of Technology. He won the Outstanding teacher award of University Computer MOOC and many provincial and ministerial teaching awards. Developing virtual experiment teaching software and its platform and obtaining software copyright; Participated in writing 2 textbooks of Higher Education Press and 2 other textbooks, and wrote more than 500,000 words; It has trained 21 graduate students.
