Wan Xiaohua is an associate professor and doctoral supervisor of Beijing University of Technology. He graduated from the Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. From 2012 to 2014, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at UCSD, University of California, San Diego. From 2015 to 2012, he was an associate researcher at the Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. In 2015, he was elected to the Youth Innovation Promotion Association of Chinese Academy of Sciences. His main research interests are biomedical image analysis and high performance computing, and he has made a series of research achievements in electron microscope image processing. The relevant algorithms and software have been widely used in the San Diego Supercomputing Center, the National Center for Microscopy and Imaging Research, Tsinghua University, the Institute of Biophysics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Peking University International Hospital, Beijing Friendship Hospital, Beijing Tongren Hospital and other institutions. In recent years, he has worked on Nature Communication, SIAM Journal on Scientific Computing and Journal of Structural Engineering More than 60 papers have been published in top international journals and conferences such as Biology, Bioinformatics, IPDPS and BIBM. He presided over 2 National Natural Science Foundation projects, 1 National Natural Science Foundation Youth Fund, 1 Chinese Academy of Sciences Pilot project (Class A) sub-project, and 1 key research project of Beijing Natural Science Foundation; As the executive leader of the project, he undertook 1 joint fund project of the National Natural Science Foundation and 2 national key research and development plans. He is currently a member of CCF Bioinformatics Committee, a member of CAAI Bioinformatics and Artificial Life Committee, and a senior member of CCF. Served as ISBRA2018 Publication Chair, BIBM2021 and BIBM2022 PC member, and was invited to review manuscripts for TMI, Bioinformatics, JPDC, TCBB, BIBM, MICCAI and other journals or conferences.
