Gao Tianxin is a lecturer and master tutor at Beijing Institute of Technology and a visiting scholar at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. His research direction is near infrared human detection. Over the past five years, he has published more than 20 SCI papers in top or important journals in the field of biomedical engineering (including Journal of Biophotonics, Ageing Research Reviews, International Journal of Molecular Sciences). He is a member of IEEE and Chinese Society of Biomedical Engineering, and serves as a reviewer for European Radiology, Cancer imaging, European Heart Jounal and other journals. In the past five years, he has participated in a number of national projects such as Science and Technology Innovation 2030- "Brain Science and brain-like Research" and the National Natural Science Foundation.
