He is currently the Dean of Advanced Research Institute of Multidisciplinary Sciences at the Beijing Institute of Technology, where he is dedicated to developing new hybrid materials for energy applications, with a focus on solar cells and detectors. To date, more than 100 papers have been published with a total of more than 30,000 citations and an H-index of 65, with 24 listed as ESI highly cited papers, one of which has been cited more than 4,000 times.

Research Interests

Mainly engaged in the development and application research of organic and inorganic hybrid and composite materials, materials are widely used in energy, photoelectric and other fields, including solar cells, energy storage batteries, sensors, detectors and other new photoelectric functional devices.

Research Achievement

So far, he has published more than 100 papers as the corresponding author, including Science, with a total of more than 30,000 citations, and has been selected as a "Clarivate Safety Globe cited Scientist" for many years. He has undertaken a number of national projects, including the Beijing Natural Science Foundation Outstanding Youth Project, the Key research and development Plan of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Natural Science Foundation project, and the Beijing Science and Technology Plan. In 2019, he was selected as the Outstanding Youth Project of Beijing Natural Science Foundation.
