He is also a member of the Council of China Invention Association, Vice chairman of the Dual-Use Technology Innovation Branch of China National Defense Industry Enterprises Association, member of the explosives Professional Committee of China Ordnance Engineering Society, member of the New Materials Professional Committee of China Chemical Industry Society. His main research fields are functional polymers and energetic materials, and he has presided over a number of scientific research projects such as key projects of the Science and Technology Commission of the Military Commission, major national defense projects, equipment advance research, National key research and development plan topics, and the National Natural Science Foundation.
