Zhang Longfei, PhD, Associate professor, graduated from the School of Computer Science and Engineering of Beijing Institute of Technology in August 2005. In the same year, he has been teaching in the School of Software and the School of Computer Science. From December 2009 to November 2011, he was a visiting scientist at Carnegie Mellon University in the United States, Deputy director of Beijing Key Laboratory of Digital Performance and Simulation Technology, director of the Research Institute of Beijing Institute of Technology - Hangzhou Shenhao Artificial Intelligence Joint Laboratory. Held more than 30 undergraduate and graduate courses such as "Digital Media Technology and Application", "Intelligent Media Computing", "Special Topics on Digital Media New Technology", "Digital Image Processing and Pattern Recognition", "Multimedia Network and Streaming Media Network", etc. At present, the main research contents focus on "video personnel 3D behavior analysis, prediction and construction", "cross-media knowledge base and common sense database", "intelligent performance creative generation and evaluation", "sports content understanding and intelligent coaching" and so on.

Awards received
He has won the ministerial first prize "Wang Xuan Award", the Pioneer of Workers, the Capital Advanced individual on the 60th anniversary of the National Day, and the Advanced individual on the 70th anniversary of the National Day.
Participated in the TRECVID SED (Surveillance Video Event Detection) competition sponsored by NIST and won the first place in total and individual results for two consecutive years, and won the "Outstanding Contributor Award".
