Jianli Liu, Special Associate Researcher and Master's Supervisor. He received his Ph. D. from the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. In recent years, his research has been focused on using advanced in situ nanocharacterization technology and mass spectrometry to study biomolecular interactions and analyze biomolecular structures under near-physiological conditions and at the level of single molecules in living cells, revealing the pathogenesis of diseases and clarifying the mechanism of drug action. In addition, peptide-like molecules with definable side chain structure were designed to achieve controllable self-assembly of peptide-like molecules. The assembly process and nucleation growth mechanism were observed in real time at molecular scale by in-situ analysis and detection technology, providing theoretical guidance for controllable assembly of biomimetic primitive structures. At present, as the first/co-first author, he has published 6 papers in international journals such as Advanced Materials, Nanoscale, Science China Materials and Science Bulletin, and authored 1 chapter of monographs. He presided over one National Natural Science Foundation Youth Project and one China Post-doctoral project each.

Engaged in chemistry, materials science, biomedical interdisciplinary research. The main directions are:
1. Construction of biomimetic intelligent polymer hydrogel materials and its application in biomedicine (wound dressing, bone regeneration and repair, etc.);
2. Construction of cell mechanical microenvironment based on hydrogel and its regulation of cell behavior;
3. Study the interactions between cells and biomaterials at the single cell and molecular level.
