Luo Dixin, Ph.D., pre-appointed Assistant Professor, Special Associate Researcher, Master Supervisor. He received his bachelor's and doctoral degrees from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and visited Georgia Institute of Technology in the United States during his doctoral studies. He was a postdoctoral fellow and researcher at the University of Toronto in Canada and Duke University in the United States. His main research interests include data mining and machine learning, especially multi-modal learning in unsupervised and weakly supervised scenarios, cross-modal matching and generation, and their applications in video understanding and 3D content generation. He has published more than 20 papers in the field of top international conferences and journals, including more than 10 CCF-A papers as the first author or corresponding author (such as TPAMI, ACM-Multimedia, ICML, NeurIPS, AAAI, IJCAI, TKDE, etc.), applied for 7 national invention patents, and has authorized 5.
