Vector miss distance measurement based on range and velocity target tracking

摘要

A new approach for estimating the vector miss distance parameters of target is presented, which is based on the extraction of the target motion trajectory in space using range and radial velocity measurements. In this method, an antenna array is used for measuring the movement of a target, exact range and velocity measurements are obtained by transmitting high range resolution signal. The extended Kalman filter is adopted to obtain more accurate target motion trajectory by constructing the motion model of the target. Then by utilizing the localization results, a set of linear equations are formed and the vector parameters are estimated. Simulation results are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed method.
