Unit Power Factor Control Considering Error of Position in Sensorless Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machine

摘要

Permanent magnet machine (PM) without speed sensor has many advantages like smaller sizes, higher efficiency, and more reliable. In the usage of generating system, permanent magnet synchronous machine (PMSM) is widely used. To improve the efficiency of the generating system, sensor-less PMSM controlled by unit power factor (UPF) strategy is proposed. It also considers the error occurs in sensor-less control. To prevent the influence of the error, a control strategy of UPF without parameters and complex computation is used. The result proves the great performance of the strategy.
