Study on the scene-based non-uniformity correction algorithms for IRFPA

摘要

The non-uniformity in the infrared focal plane array has limited the quality of infrared imaging system. Scene-based non-uniformity correction (NUC) techniques correct the non-uniformity by using an image sequence and relying on motion between frames. The approach of the whole frame correction, Kalman filtering correction, adaptive filtering correction, trace a-long trajectory correction, based on the scene moving analysis correction, the wavelet transform used for design the low-pass filter correction, both of the high-pass filter and the artificial neural network correction, based on the application of wavelet filter, video sequences and registration, orthogonal least squares correction, an improved algorithm using neural networks and the algebraic algorithm are introduced and analyzed. These algorithms are compared.
