STUDY ON LATERAL EFFECT OF JPC PENETRATING CONCRETE

摘要

Compared with the traditional shaped charge structure, the jetting projectile charge (JPC) has the advantages of higher utilization ratio, greater aftereffect and higher penetration depth. In order to enhanced the tandem warhead lateral effect of the former warhead, this paper designs a series of spherical liner which can form JPC. The numerical simulation of JPC penetrating concrete was carried out by using Autodyn-2D, and the combined lateral effect of JPC high speed penetration and explosion impact on concrete targets is studied. It was found that the cratering diameter of reactive (PTFE/Al) JPC on concrete target could reach 200 mm, and the penetration depth was 300 mm. It is found that the penetration depth decreases with the increase of the radius of curvature, while the hole size at the end of the penetration cavity will increase accordingly, and the lateral effect is obvious.
