N2 - In order to design geometric parameters of spatial RSSR mechanism in a shortcut effectively, based on motion character analysis of a particular spatial RSSR mechanism, a combined method with 3-D motion simulating and graphics parsing is introduced. With further motion simulation analysis, validity of the obtained parameters of RSSR mechanism is verified. And more, the specific way of adjusting geometric parameters is introduced to meet accuracy requirement of the mechanism. This method significantly improves the design and analysis process of this spatial mechanism, and is valuable to engineering design.
