Sparse-based disturbance cancellation approach for passive radar

摘要

The clutter cancellation is a required step in passive radar signal processing. In order to suppress the clutter, adaptive filter is an effective method. Considering that clutter is consisted of a few dominating points reflection, in this paper we propose a sparse-based disturbance cancellation algorithm, which exploits generalized orthogonal matching pursuit (GOMP) to speed up the computational process of solving the linear equation problem. After formulating the data model of received signal in matrix form, the greedy algorithms are employed to reconstruct clutter, which can be cancelled in subsequent step. Finally a range-Doppler algorithm is implemented. Simulation results verify the accuracy and effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
