摘要

In order to overcome the effect of the atmospheric anisoplanatism, Multi Conjugate Adaptive Optics (MCAO) has been widely used to widen the field-of-view (FOV) of a solar telescope. Only considering the atmospheric anisoplanatism, the performance of a solar telescope is related to the numbers of deformable mirrors (DMs) and their conjugate heights. The performance of the solar MCAO system is quantified theoretically. The results indicate that the DM's optimal conjugate heights depend on the distribution of atmospheric turbulence. In theory, for a solar MCAO system (D/r0=28.57) in a 1' diameter FOV, by employing two DMs conjugated to certain heights, the Strehl Ratio (SR) of the MCAO system is 0.55, which can meet the requirement of solar telescope. With the increase of the diameter of solar telescope, for a wider FOV, more DMs will be employed in MCAO system.
