Absorption refrigeration technology is an efficient way in utilizing waste heat, especially apply to occasions with both waste heat supplies and refrigeration requirements. In the present work, an ammonia-water absorption refrigeration system with internal heat integration has been proposed and studied. The system is driven by waste heat with large temperature span. Simulation analysis has been carried out to study the influence of waste heat temperature span on each component and the whole system. The study shows that, with temperature span varies from 51 K to 69 K, the COP rises from 0.80 to 0.88. It is because the performance of generator and rectifier improves and the circulating ratio of the system decreases. Additionally, as waste heat temperature span increases, lower cooling water temperature of the absorber is needed, and the generator and absorber internal heat recover ratios bring down. However the vapor split ratio reduces slightly, indicating that the function of the premixer is slightly weakened.
