摘要

According to statistics, there are 650 million people with disabilities worldwide, 80% of whom are in developing countries. In China alone, there are more than 85 million. In recent years, the trend of human rights and humanitarianism has changed society's attitude towards the disabled from discrimination to respect and support. The barriers between the disabled and the non-disabled are gradually removed, and more and more high-tech products to assist the life of the disabled are constantly iterating. We work to bring people with disabilities closer to normal people, but there is one area that has been neglected - the sexual needs of people with disabilities. The public's neglect of their sexual needs is also the result of stereotypes that. Liu argues that sexuality and disability may seem far apart, and it is often assumed that people with disabilities do not have the same sexual needs as normal people and are simply incapable of exercising their sexual functions. Society and culture always conceal many negative assumptions and attitudes towards the sexuality of people with disabilities. Disabled people tend to be mostly portrayed in a negative light in popular culture, which undermines their sexual rights and roles. In a sense, the sexuality of people with disabilities is not an individual physical problem, but a socio-cultural one.
