摘要
This paper presents a new type of shear mode magnetorheological damper of which the torque is designed to be adjustable by changing the sets number of the coils inside. The harmonic excitation experiment invokes the frequency from 0.5 Hz to 20 Hz. The result shows that the dynamic characteristic of the torque varies with the frequency and the step level. Based on the experimental data, an adaptive neural network model can quick track the curve of the output torque under both different frequency and step level after online training.
