摘要

Free-piston linear generator (FPLG) is a novel power source which combines free-piston engines and a linear electric generator. Piston motion and vibration excitation characteristics of FPLG are quite different from the traditional reciprocating engines. This paper aims to clarify the vibration excitation mechanism of FPLG and propose an effective vibration isolation method. The dynamic simulation model of FPLG piston and vibration isolation system are established to solve the special lateral vibration isolation problem, and the vibration excitation mechanism of FPLG is revealed. The influences of mounting parameters on the FPLG vibration is analyzed by the energy decoupling and response surface method. In addition, an effective optimization design method considering comprehensive vibration isolation indices is proposed. By verifying with the simulation model of FPLG vibration isolation system, the proposed method can realize the effective vibration isolation. The analyses will provide guidance for the vibration reduction design of the novel power sources with similar motion characteristics.
