Research into pressure wave correction of fuel quantity fluctuation for CRS with piezo-actuated injector

摘要

In order to solve the periodic fluctuation of fuel quantity of the succeeding injection during the multiple-injection for common rail injection system with piezo-actuated injector, which was caused by the pressure fluctuation due to the water-hammer effect generated by the closure of the needle valve during the preceding injection, a pressure wave correction control strategy on the basis of lumped parameter model is designed and implemented. The strategy adopts a sum of a plurality of periodic function to model the property of fuel quantity fluctuation. The correction is accomplished by adjusting the injection parameters of the succeeding injection. The results show that the calculation data based on established model has a good agreement with the experimental data and the fuel quantity fluctuation decreases considerably with a good consistency of the succeeding injection.
