Research and recent advance of high resolution infrared image reconstruction technology

摘要

The finite detector arrays and finite individual detector sizes of infrared imaging systems contribute to the nonideal sampling of the scene information. Aliasing will occur. This aliasing can significantly degrade the image quality, causing low resolution of acquired images. Two resolution improved techniques introduced here, are referred to as microscanning and uncontrolled-microscanning. On the basis of our study on image super-resolution, one new reconstruction technique using combination of microscanning and super-resolution algorithms was presented. The technique using MPMAP algorithm is demonstrated by experimental results and can significantly improve infrared system's resolution.
