摘要

Metal/ fluoropolymer reactive materials (RMs) are of extremely broad application prospect in the fields of energetic materials, aeronautics and astronautics, and security and military (air defense). The materials start chemical reaction severely after penetrating target at a high impact velocity. A multipoint pressure testing method in a quasi-sealed test chamber is designed to study the distribution characteristics of the impact-induced reaction zones behind the target. In addition, three RMs which include Aluminum/Polytetrafluoroethylene (Al/PTFE), Magnesium/Polytetrafluoroethylene (Mg/PTFE) and Titanium Polytetrafluoroethylene (Ti/PTFE), are involved in the experiments for pressure measurement with impact velocities of 1250m/s and 1450m/s. By a comprehensive contrast of the pressure characteristics of different reaction zones, the impact-induced initiation and energy release behavior of the three RMs are analyzed in this paper. The research methods and results can provide technical guidance for the engineering application of the reactive materials.
