Preparation and characterization of ε-HNIW booster explosive

摘要

In order to develop a new high-performed, low-sensitive booster explosive, molding powder of ε-HNIW was obtained by self-improved water slurry coating technology and was characterized by FT-IR and SEM. The results indicate that Estane is effective for coating ε-HNIW, the coated surface is smooth and the angularity is reduced. The results of DSC show that the Estane-ε-HNIW mixture have good compatibility with grade one. Compared with raw ε-HNIW, the impact sensitivity and the friction sensitivity of coated samples all decreased to some extent, the 50% drop height of impact sensitivity (H 50) of ε-HNIW increases from 17cm to 44cm and explosion probability P decreases from 100% to 68%, the detonation velocity of coated ε-HNIW is 8 923 m/s. It is a new high-performed and low-sensitive booster explosive.
