Output power and efficiency sensitivity to circuit parameter variations in double-sided LCC-compensated wireless power transfer system

摘要

This paper focuses on the sensitivity of power transfer to parameter variations in a 5.7kW double-sided LCC-compensated wireless power transfer system. A SPICE model of the circuit component with parasitic resistance is built to accurately calculate the power loss and efficiency. LTspice software is used to simulate the system performance for different parameter combinations, which are generated by exhaustive and Monte-Carlo methods. It is shown that, in certain cases, the switching frequency can be adjusted to compensate for parameter variations. Finally, a 5.7kW WPT system is implemented, and experiments are performed at the parameter combination corresponding to the lowest and highest power. The comparison between simulation and experiment results demonstrates the presented sensitivity problem and the effectiveness of frequency adjusting method.
