摘要
To research the numerical simulation technology for the safety assessment of explosives, thermo-elastic-plastic material model and chemical kinetics equation, which were based on friction ignition mechanism of explosives, were used to simulate the friction ignition of PBX-C03 explosives. The critical curves of igniting of PBX-C03 were obtained at different pressures, velocities and friction factors. The results indicate that the approach to node tie-breaking, thermo-elastic-plastic material model and chemical kinetics equation can be used to simulate the ignition of solid explosives with thermal-mechanical-chemical coupled effect under friction stimuli. The main reason of ignition of explosives during their friction is the explosive internal shearing. The plastic deformation of explosives around the shear slip bands produces the heat to cause the increase in explosive temperature until the ignition of explosives happens. Friction ignition of explosives is more likely to happen by improving sliding speed or frictional coefficient.
