摘要
A computational model for the treatment of unsteady, viscous cavitating flows is described. Navier-Stokes equations using a two-phase model are employed to account for cavitated regions. The model is based on a locally homogeneous model of the gas-liquid two-phase medium. The density of the media varies in magnitude between the gas and liquid density. The governing equations are solved by TVD-MacCormack predictor-corrector two explicit methods in order to enhance the numerical stability. To assess the computation model, cavitating flow over a step is computed, and reasonable results are obtained. And then, cavitating phenomena in a bend tube are analyzed.
